within every being, there is a beginning and an end
we seek out that which we find pleasure in, taking us back to the beginning
yet we yearn for the end, cessation of sensation
that which inspires fear, the end
offers nothing but to cease pain and give nothingness
while the beginning offers boundless pleasure in sensation
at the cost of intermittent suffering
to begin implies the assurance of an end
but to end implies the inverse
no beginning without an end, no end without a beginning
the duality of humanity,
innocence cannot persist without deviance
turn back? or venture forward?
